Charging and storage instructions:

Never store your batteries fully charged and or fully discharged. We recommend to store the batteries at the nominal voltage of the battery. We also recommend to use the batteries regulary, if you don't go to the track, then cycle them once every two weeks. The batteries must not be stored in direct sunlight, this also includes your car during a hot summer day. For a long lifetime of your batteries we recommend a charging rate of 1C. A higher charging rate will decrease the lifetime of your battery significantly.

We recommend to use a lipo bag during charging your battery: RUDDOG HD LiPo Ladetasche (180x80x80mm)

Installation:

When installing you battery, we recommend not to place them directly next to your motor. Should it not be possible to place your battery at a different place we strongly recommend the use of a motor fan to keep your motor cool and so also your battery. We offer the German legal warranty time on all of our batteries. Inproper usage or storage can void this warranty.

The batteries have C-rates of 20-50C and can therefore be loaded with 20-50 times the rated capacity, depending on the designated C-rate! For a short time, about 10-15 seconds, also with double the value of the continuous load. The C-rates depend on the requirements of the devices for which they are designed and manufactured.

Elaborate quality assurance processes during production and before delivery ensure consistently high quality.

Lithium batteries are rechargeable batteries with very high energy density and require special care in handling, as well as charging/discharging.

Tips: 

• Preheating of cold accumulators increases performance and service life
• Storage temperature at room temperature of 20-25
• Always store in a partially charged state at approx. 60%.
• Protect from short circuit, damage, overheating, deep discharge and overcharge
• Only charge with a charger suitable for lithium batteries with the correct charging program outside the model and on a fireproof surface
• Do not use or charge batteries with cell damage or in a swollen state, but dispose of them properly.
• Never charge or discharge unattended!
